Recently learned from manufacturers of benzoic acid and sodium benzoate, according to EU official gazette news, the European Union approved Benzoic acid, Sodium benzoate, calcium formate and fumaric acid as broilers and eggs Chicken feed booster.

On July 12, 2018, the European Commission issued Courtesy (EU) 2018/982, in accordance with Regulation No. 1831/2003 (EC) approved benzoic acid, sodium benzoate, calcium formate and fumaric acid as feed additives for broilers and laying hens .

According to the requirements of the regulations, the chicken feed increasing agent belongs to the “animal husbandry increasing agent” in the increasing agent group group, and belongs to the “other animal raising increasing agent” in the fruit group group. This booster has not been approved as an animal nutrition booster.

The new regulations came into effect on the 20th after they were promulgated, and were applied to all EU member states.
